Ireland remained neutral for the entirety of World War II conflict. Despite its neutrality, certain exceptions occurred, such as permitting Allied aircraft to use the Donegal Corridor, and co-operation between Allied and Irish intelligence, including detailed weather reports of the Atlantic Ocean.
