Who is the piltown man?
The Piltdown Man was a set of bones found by archaeologist Charles Dawson in 1912. He found the fossils in large gravel beds near Piltdown village in Sussex, England. He believed these fossils were the missing link between humans and apes. This theory was disproved in 1949.
