Lemurs and monkeys are not in the same taxonomic Family, but they are both in the same Order. The Primates Order is divided into two suborders: Strepsirhines and Haplorhines. Strepsirrhines include lemurs, galagos, and lorisids. Haplorhines include simians (monkeys and apes) and tarsiers.
